Interior:
Some interior, finish techniques have been refined over years of research and testing:
-Hot treatments with bees wax on oxidised surfaces in order to achieve an antiqued finish;
-Waxy varnishes on brushed or silky surfaces in order to achieve a delicate finish.
They are all protective treatments that enable the iron to be seen and touched in its natural state and to enhance the irregular surface typical of forging and appreciate those high quality details inherent in the working process.
Exterior:
Iron preparation cycle and finish with graphite black colouring enables the iron to be protected from environmental agents.
